“YOu can connect with people more”?

Someone needs to explain to this kid that a few years ago, someone bought this for 100,000, and either lost $88,000 of their life savings or destoyed their credit, or both, and that’s what she’s profiting from now. She should know that while she’s celebrating her new investment.

“I’m not so sure about real estate,” she said. “But investing is really cool. You get to see a property that was a mess before and afterward see that it’s beautiful. I suppose with real estate you can connect with people more, but I would probably prefer investing.”

In December, scholars recovered sound from this and other recordings made over 100 years ago. Until now, the technology to listen to the recordings without damaging the objects was not available. Learn more about how they recovered the audio.
